Let's put that smile on now,
it's your big day to become prom queen.
The ruler of the school,
the ruler of all.
To show your dominance above the rest,
how many fake tans you're had to get.
To brighten the room with your smile,
and remind yourself of how long you've had to have braces.
To throw your hair,
how dead is it from all the dye again?
Remember to tell the other girls to stay away,
the blackmail and bribes.
The one with the prettiest foreign dress,
how many girls you tell to dress in what you thought was ugly?
Hello my little doll,
you're shining up real well.
With the peer pressure bearing down on you,
to be the best

Sleepy Wasteland Dreams
I sleep through this snowy wasteland,
afraid of what tomorrow brings,
I dream to play in the sand,
where all are dead including the kings.
Whatever it brings,
I'm terrified of surprise,
where the birds don't sing,
it reeks of a sudden demise.
I'll stay here and sleep,
where I know is wrong,
but here I'll have my soul to keep,
for all eternity long.
In a world of white dresses,
covered in dirt and grime,
full of untold messes,
where the wind refuses to chime.
Living and dying in a world of imagination,
it's all in my mind in a dream,
full of all my own creation,
nothing is ever what it seems.
I am falling apart at the seams and slipping into madness.
This is not usual,
not normal,
paranoia.
Slipping and stumbling,
picked away by the voices in my head.
Are you appalled by my inner beauty?
Repelled by my outer shell?
My wings have spread,
butterfly pattern,
the horrifyingly easy effect.
I thought you would have liked to see the angel you thought me to be.
This is my world,
the insanity,
kissing your lips.
Who are you to say I'm not perfect?
Who are you to bring me down?
I'm perfectly happy dancing with my imaginary friends.
I pray you find happiness amidst all your lies,
in a place where all your hopes and dreams dies,
everything you've said you turn around in all denies,
you'll regret it and begin your hopeless cries.
One after another they leave you here,
you finally caught up with nothing left but a tear,
the fuels of your lies turn around in to fire you seer,
the gates of Hell only draw near.
Pray for you sins as dutiful as they were,
each one of them you manage to occur,
used so many times they become a blur,
the broken people's bloods begin to stir.
With all your knowledge of your true self how do you feel?
Obviously you shouldn't feel so real
The clouds of the midnight sky,
just float on by and by.
With time passing me away,
I can't control myself,
waiting for a new day.
The clouds of the midnight sky,
float on by and by,
sending me a friendly wave,
to a soul so broken,
one that cannot be saved.
The clouds of the midnight sky,
float on by and by,
wondering where I'll go from here,
will I travel afar,
or stay somewhere near?
The clouds of the midnight sky,
float on by and by,
I watch as you go on your way,
on your own journey,
to your eternal day.

I come from a broken home,
with a broken mind,
a broken soul,
a broken, empty hole.
(This solitude is so cold...)
The broken, empty hole, seeps out my heart,
lets it fall,
lets it rot.
I only know a broken love,
with broken people,
in a broken abode.
We sing a broken song,
of all those broken,
who are now long gone.
I live in a broken world,
full of broken people,
we try to fix the world by a tight furl.
(Everything oozes through the crevices...)
I see with broken eyes,
this broken place will be never be,
not with these cracked skies...

Down the Rabbit Hole
Down the rabbit hole,
to a place untold.
To feed the soul,
to be very bold.
Madness all around,
from all the obscured sound,
it's all in the mind,
shut your ears,
be blind.
Never know their thoughts,
to stay this way,
it take more than a whole lot.
Stay in the imaginary world,
on the broken floor,
stay curled,
don't make a sound.
Do not rise,
do not open the pounding door.
Make them leave you alone,
pretend to be dead.
You have sins to atone,
into your dark world, you are lead.
The only place to be,
where only you can see,
you are the Alice,
they are the Queen.
Run away through the looking glass,
set your sails f

The Devil's Playground
There once was a boy,
who gave his sister hell,
he treated her like a broken toy,
the devil was to come everyone could tell.
Here the devil came,
to pay the girl a visit,
he knew her as she was the same,
he saw her and couldn't miss it.
The devil played with her hair,
as she dried her tears,
she knew he didn't care,
and he stayed to kindle her fears.
the devil so happy,
he heard her cries,
and heard her pleas,
'there is no remorse for me.'
The devil danced his dance,
while she sat there and watched,
and he chanted his chant,
her soul remained staunch.
The devil's playground has been extended,
the girl's heart has finally
Let's distance ourselves from here,
to a place never far and never near,
taking all our items loving and dear,
never looking back to this place veer.
I want to run away and never be found,
a place I know where I'll be safe and sound,
somewhere I can survive all around,
somewhere that isn't home bound.
Living a lie that isn't mine,
at the table shall I meet the Devil to dine,
I walk a straight line,
crooked and twisted but it's still very fine.
So give me some sort of sign,
of the Almighty Devine,
I need you to call mine,
where the stars in the sky align.
Come to me in this place,
with your pure face,
save me from this eterna
